Vintage child’s top and trouser suit with ornate frog trims with large domed buttons in cinnamon brown The buttons are covered wood, pleated frill trim to centre front, possibly a Page boy outfit. mother of pearl buttons for attaching the top to the breeches and snap studs Concealed button placket to front with mother of pearl buttons. Beautifully made this must have been made for a special occasion Silk grosgrain Possibly a 2 yr old size but please go by the measurements

Hand and machine sewn, hand sewn button holes The trousers are lined in a very fine fabric and the top back yoke and arm seams are bound in the same fabric, sewn by hand In excellent condition slight stain to the frill 2 very small holes 1 to centre back, 1 to front chest and wear to 1 frog which I am going to repair slight wear above button on inside of trousers but not visible on outside No odours
This would be ideal for a period drama or for display or to be worn as the fabric is in excellent stable condition 1950s? or earlier
This set is a vintage item and is not fitted with modern safety fastenings and has buttons which may be a choke hazard
