vintage 1930s black drawstring top handbag lined in a silk twill fabric pale yellow in colour to the decorative top edge otherwise black lower bag
The bag has a black silk fringe to the base and there is a metallic thread sewn parallel to the hem with a fine zigzag pale green trim above. There is a pink gold green and dark pink silk floss flower trim to the front.
Overall the bag is in excellent condition and is completely usable. The thread which has sewn the drawstring is brown, and the tension is not that great in a couple of places, but it is completely usable. It is clean internally with no unpleasant smells and I haven’t noticed any damage
