Antique Victorian teal velvet sewing etui handbag with Rd No 18746 Paris Depose stamped into catch which is a sliding lock mechanism & it has its original key.
Inside it is lined in a rich quality matching blue satin and has a central panel with sewing tools fitted on one side and a mirror, scent bottle and container the other. Each side has a compartment/ pocket. There is one sewing tool missing.
Some light wear to the edges of the bag and some very light surface wear to the metalwork and frame otherwise it is completely usable, remarkable condition for its age.
