Silk brocade bag with metallic fringe & trim, possibly religious in origin, vintage/ antique unsure of exact age.
It is made from a yellow woven fabric possibly silk with some cotton content as well. Fine floral repeats within vertical stripes of golden yellow & natural coloured vertical stripes.
The edges of the bag have a metallic gold braid trim and the base of the bag has a gold metallic fringe and appears to be completely hand sewn.
It is lined in a green fabric possibly cotton which has a slight sheen. The lining is in good clean and complete condition. There is some colour wear to the gold trim on the bag but overall is in very good completely usable condition.
This is a bag which is worn on a belt or the wrist
