Vintage genuine Royal opera house Covent Garden costume drape/ scarf in a dark red damask & jacquard black and gold fabric with gold metallic thread trims from the Parisfal opera production as per the label.
Bullion fringe to ends, not sure of fabric fibre content as it isnt stated but looks like a cotton backing.
Decorative metallic trimmings all along the edges and in between the different fabric panels. The scarf is clean and in very good order with only light signs of wear. It does have some losses to the bullion fringe The scarf is pleated to the back neckline.
Perfect for opera costume colletors or it could be worn or repurposed
