A finely executed religious text sampler dated 1840. Silk on linen with floral border. Various trees, floral bands, small birds, dogs & other motifs. Early Victorian.
O come my saviour come away

Birds Eye maple frame which does have some faults primarily some darker areas along the lower edge but part of its character, gilt slips and old glass. Old backing paper with some splits and age related discolouration. Some fade and age related discolouration to the sampler
