Edwardian 1910 1920s black leather shoes with bead decorated strap & dark mother of pearl button. The top edges to the shoes are bound in a textile and hand finished which is in very good condition with only very minor wear. The decoration appears to be complete and sound. The inside of the shoes are leather lined with the front sections having a black fabric lining which is clean and complete.
The soles show only very light signs of use and are leather
The heels have a metal guard. The leather to the shoes is complete and has surface creasing but has no cracks and is supple. They show little signs of being worn they just haven’t been stored correctly. very fine leather I think what they call glace’ A wonderful pair of shoes
