C1900 Arts & Crafts embroidered glove box although it could be used for anything or just displayed. It has a very distinctive art nouveau design in metallic and floss type threads. Earthy mix of colours bordered with defining darker threads.
The sides & edges of the box are trimmed in metallic braids of varying designs Lined internally in a red silk water mark fabric Metallic thread with loop fastening

Condition
Completely usable with some slight fade internally and the metallic trims may have lost some vibrancy. Some slight warp to the base and lid edges but not overly visible
