Antique Victorian black glass mourning tiara or hair jewellery of faceted black glass rounds on a black flexible metal band, with elastic inserted in the holes in each end to keep it on your head.
The metal is a fine flexible band which is coated /painted black.
There is a fine peg / pin top centre which would have had another piece of glass or bead on it but this piece is missing.
There are a few tiny nibbles but nothing obvious a wonderful survivor.
Hair jewellery like this was worn post the death of Prince Albert and made fashionable by Queen Victoria throughout her reign
