Antique 1920s 1930s black silk opera Cape with patterned lining, tie neckline with silk tassel ends with Robb Brothers Ltd Birkenhead Label.
A simple stylish eye catching cape made from a fine ribbed silk, light to medium weight which has a lovely drape.
Sun ray seaming to the back neckline and a mandarin collar which extends into a tie fastening.
The lining is in very good condition, a quirky colourful print, clean, with no holes Overall in excellent condition with only minor wear.
The cape has a single press stud fastening to keep the cape together along with the long tie/scarf which has decorative silk tassels to each end.
The cape has been shortened at some point in its past The black is very good overall with no fade a couple of slight surface scuffs to the fabric but not particularly noticeable , the photos don’t do it justice.
